Fer made herself known to the international drum scene when she placed second in the Hit Like a Girl Contest in 2014, which subsequently earned her a spot on the judging panel in 2019 and onward. Since then she has developed a reputation for herself through her meticulous technique and precise in-the-pocket grooves. Both a touring and studio musician, Fer has worked with numerous artists in a broad range of genres including Lauren Jauregui (Fifth Harmony), Becky G., Thalia, Daya, Debbie Gibson, Finneas, Sebastian Yatra, Lasso, Jorge Blanco, NIKI, Omar Chaparro, Abraham Laboriel, Maddie Zham, Enrique Bunbury, Oscar Hernandez, Lily Meola, Run River North, LaBanda en Flor, and Tan Weiwei, among countless others. These projects have taken her all through Europe, North America, South America, and Asia. Most recently in 2022, Fer toured with Daya and NIKI.

Back in Chile, where Fer was born and raised, she has also played and recorded with MammaSoul, a Latin Grammy and MTV Awards nominee.
 
In addition to playing live and touring with this impressive roster of artists, Fer has also recorded drums for many others, written songs for Chilean television, and been in many music videos, commercials (Vic Firth’s NE-1, Zoom’s H6, and Marshall’s Willen speaker campaigns), live recordings, TV shows, and film. 50on50, Balon de Oro Awards and Hollywood Stargirl (starring Uma Thurman). When Fer isn’t on the road or recording, she also works as a producer and Music Director for several artists.
